I blame 2legs that the shower has been out of action for the last 3 weeks or so. Its being fixed tomorrow though.
I also blame 2legs for my 11 mile bike ride which made my knees hurt.
please!

huh!. That was the second time on my bike in ages, and the first time I was only out for ten minutes not 70 minutes!

I blame 2legs for the fact that everyone (particularly on Twitter) thinks that everything is now #nickcleggsfault.

How wrong can those poor misguided Twitter people be?
I blame 2legs for 's senility, each and every time she gets lost on her way back to her fluffy pillow, and yowls in confusion until someone turns her around the right way.

I blame 2legs for garden hose pipes that seem to be leaky after the winter - for garden taps that have forgotten their purpose, and no longer work since the cold weather
I'd also like to blame him for holly bushes, that have couch grass growing underneath them
Thank you 2legs - that makes me feel a whole lot better now!

That seems a bit wrong. Shouldn't you be blaming him for the couch grass that has holly trees growing above it?

well mebbe ... KB can I spray roundup under these bushes do you think? (on the couch) The trouble is the bushes are pruned into pyramids and the leaves start right down at soil level, so it is very scratchy doing the weeding.

Roundup's a bit of a nuclear option...I've used a paintbrush before to dab it on to things that are intermingled with other plants, but that might be a painstaking process with couch grass!
Generally my advice with weeds (which people don't tend to like) is to just leave 'em be. Think of it as nature in action - a "weed" is just a plant growing there because it's found the perfect conditions it loves. (For which I blame 2legs )
Except for Equisetum. http://www.naturephoto-cz.eu/equisetum-telmateia-picture-3884.html
I've one tried and tested method for dealing with Equisetum which never fails. At the first sign of it starting to grow, move house!
(It's a pity - because it's a beautiful plant. But it just gets rampant!)

I blame 2legs for letting this thread turn into Gardeners Question time - the thing is the couch uses the hidey hole beneath the holly to recoup strength before coming out to smother some old lavender bushes and phlox and aquilegias.
I blame 2legs that not all weeds are pretty enough to remain as 'wild plants'. I do quite like tangled gardens, but not with couch...

I blame 2legs for my poor music reading ability. Even after all these years I still have to puzzle out almost every measure.

I blame 2legs for the need to buy a new pastry brush to replace the one that caught fire yesterday.

I blame 2legs for sore feet due to the shoes with heels he must have tricked me into wearing when I took the hatchlings out for dinner earlier this afternoon.
2legs should know better than making me wear shoes with heels. He must be well aware of my avoidance of anything such abnormal.
