Tip-toeing back in to say that I've tried all sorts of words in the search line, but it comes back every time with 'no results found' or something. So I would be grateful if someone can help find her page, or a thread, or something, as I'd like to mention something about chaffinches!smiley - smiley

I blame 2legs that Susan doesn't seem to know about this thread:

F19585?thread=612457

Which isn't the one she wants (2legs' fault, that...), but might help.

2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side...

smiley - laugh something like that... : he helped cut the trees down a couple weeks back at a holiday caravan park place near here... and now he's logging them up so they can go be seasoned and put in the wood store ready for next winter smiley - zen (Fahter has gotten totally* obsessed by this new wood fire he's had put in smiley - snork ) smiley - ermsmiley - weird
Once he's done these which are in the back we've some very* large err well trees basically that are piled up in the front, but which are too big to move or carry smiley - snorksmiley - erm if we can get rid of them from the front then the driveway may once again be able to be used by people wanting to put their car near the house smiley - snorksmiley - doh
I tried to lift one of the larger sections a few days back... no way... smiley - dohsmiley - ufo
WJH?:nothing much... the chainsaw outside seems to have stopped... and Father just came inside by the sound of it smiley - zen enough wood cutting for today; in a while we shall call Father's work friend, and explain to him, at great length, details over todays wood burning, coal burning and wood cutting efforts; we're slowely driving him insaine with our detailed descriptions of each days wood smiley - snorksmiley - laugh

Thank you for the link - I have posed the question there

I moved awayfrom h2g2 I'm afraid, because it's a bit tricky to use with my software (Supernova with magnification and voice), but didn't forget it of course!

I blame 2legs for not letting Susan know that this might be the thread she was looking for all this time: http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/alabaster/F1694533?thread=745775&latest=1 Also, that I accidentally clicked on the very first posting to the blame thread, and it seems that everyone was being called tony even back then Some things never change eh?

2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side...

I'm currently on mobile broadband as I'm not at home... at home we can't get BT as they don't provide a usible speed of service in Cambridge for some strange reason... mind, I don't own a TV either as I've gotten so fed up with it... being back at my Dads just reminds me how terrible the vast majority of it is ... so far this time I've enjoyed watching the final couple episodes of Frost, and the new adverts that have been created since Christmas... smiley - doh This film ... no idea what it is dosn't seem too terrible actually but I've not paid enough attention to have a clue what its about smiley - dohsmiley - sleepy

Errr

Sorry to spring this on you 2legs...

By law, if you can receive broadband in any form, you can receive TV broadcasts, and you are therefore liable to pay the TV Licence fee......

Sorry!!!

2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side...

Yes, that is how they would like it to be, as far as I know at the moment they've not been able to successfully do it though, as they've failed to adapt to the modern world, where tieing a tV licence into a home doesn't really work anymore as it can't take account of mobile phones, PDAs netbooks laptops etc...
I won't have a TV licence though, as I don't watch TV; I listen to teh radio, but there isn't a radio licence anymore, and if they're that bothered about it really they can take me to court... smiley - bluelightsmiley - weird
If I watch any moovies or TVcontent when I'm at my home its streamed over teh net anyhow, from servers in China or whereever, again, as yet, despite there best efforts, the US has luckily so far failed to extend its inaffectual laws to cover the rest of the world, so luckily as nothing is being downloaded its not yet illegal... And I can't be bothered to stream most of the stuff anymore as its all just utterly pointless celib rubbish from wall to wall for the most part smiley - headhurtssmiley - weird
Anyhow, who needs TV with the internet smiley - boingsmiley - ufosmiley - sleepy actually as the fire is runnign down now I might head to bed smiley - dohsmiley - sleepy
I blame 2legs for pizza indigestion smiley - blush
