Crikey, that's the next village from me Good job it was the pond side of the sluice, they (cadavers) traditionally wash up at the appropriately named Dead Mans Point, just across the fields from the house.

well never mind- at least they don't make much noise (the dead that is)- that is a good thing about living next to a cemetery!
Now there's a big wedding coming up on Friday- I won't be watching sadly as I'm at work!

Say it with flowers:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-1379863/Worlds-smelliest-flower-Corpse-plant-opens-time-DECADE.html
I don't know what you're supposed to say with that one though. "I'm leaving you for your best friend"?

The message seems clear enough:
"The flower, nicknamed 'Corpse flower', bloomed late
on Good Friday
at the University of Basel, Switzerland
and is expected to remain open until Easter Sunday."
There is a god.
And he has a Swiss bank account.
And Italian shoes and a Japanese watch.
An American sense of smell and a Canadian
sense of humour.
Or for the less spiritually involved the message
may simply be that Spring has sprung.
Lay on McDuff!

The message seems clear enough:
with the corpse plant having such a rare opening, and there being so many examples of corpse plant all over the world, one is opening fairly regularly somewhere in the world,
thats life!!!!
life, don't talk to me about life
