I'm so glad to see your report of vibrating snails. Early this morning I bent over to pick up a snail and throw it out of my yard, and it instantly started vibrating. It startled me so much I dropped it. I've never felt, or even heard of such a thing before. Glad to see I wasn't imagining it.
