So, who's the Average H2G2er?
Leo Posted Aug 15, 2004
just a short break for a PSA:
I'm going abroad in 2 weeks, and dont know the situation with the 'net access where I'm going. I may have to let this thread drift.
Looking for someone to take over the calculating.
Qualifications:
must know the rules pertaining to averages, percents, and the basics of using a calculator.
Should also come on often enough to tally up the score and see who's currently winning: The over-the-hills or the too-young-to-know-betters.
So, who's the Average H2G2er?

Would love to help but only tend to come in when I'm at work so can't guarantee I'd be here often enough or have the time to do the calculations
Hope you find an enthusiastic volounteer

I'm going away in less than one week so I doubt I can help, and it's a long time since I did any maths... but I can keep a log of all that's happened and post it to you in an easy-to-read, digestable package when you get back?

its for a year of study. They dont have access on site, and I think dial-up is the norm in the rest of the country. So I doubt that would work.

A few days ago Teaswill suggested she is a
>> part time optometrist <<
I fear I must leave an exploration of the comic possibilities arising from such a concept for another time. But at least let me ask if this is like freelance surgery or roaving gunslinging?

Don't mind me, just glad to see anyone who manages to stay free from full time committments of any kind, especially the working kind.

No, I don't do domiciliary visits !
The less exciting reality is that I practise only 2 days each week (I know, do I really still need the practice ).

Can't possibly be middle-aged if I've just dyed my hair pink, green, poiple and yellow/orange can I?
