In Post 77 it was reported:
>> The average age has dropped. Now the average researcher is:
25.042462962963 years old. <<
I would expect this trend will continue.
Younger researchers will be encouraged by the latest statistic while the elders will find themselves increasingly less likely to reveal themselves.

Omigod! I'm wrong. Those next three were all over 30.
Glad I didn't put money on that one.

Why yes, that was exactly the reason why I posted - couldn't let you stay with the wrong impression about the average h2g2er - and I think 42 is a good age - pity I'll be 43 so soon

51 is a grand age to be.
There's a lot of *whispers* middle aged people around here...I promise! You just have to find them!

Kat,if I recall it correctly, you're only 17 - so how old are the 'middle aged' people, according to you ?

What's wrong with being old? Doesn't it mean you're wise, and you can say, "been there done that got the t-shirt"?
Anyway, the average age has risen:
38.148923280385185....
(at that point I got bored of copying numbers. Forgive me please.)
Employed is same old 68.507636363636% + 2 more people employed, (one calling in sick.)
Unemployed is same old 27.921363% + 1 more student.
We still have 1 full time mom, at 1.85% and 1 maternity leave, at 1.85% and now
*1* retired, also at 1.85%
keep 'em coming.

abbi normal "Putting on the Ritz" with Dr Frankenstein Posted Aug 9, 2004
30 is middle aged and 50 senior citizen?
Every age has been both surprizingly wonderful and a supreme unexpected pain of some sort. I think I'll keep going
Key: Complain about this post
