Who are you to decide what can and cannot be in Ask H2G2?

Well, I had tried to help Gig group his various threads into one thread, but this didn't work out very well. So we still have a few Gig threads going. I don't think there is any question about what is appropriate to ask on Ask h2g2.

If I now asked a question about my imaginary hamsters I'm sure plenty of people would reply.

Anyhow, Gig seems to be taking over hootoo in much the same way he wants to take over the world.

probably because gigabane has never been her before, dosnt know how to control the groups,
and will respond to anything relevant on any thread i happen to catch.
then it just carries on, i have tried to steer things, others have tried on my behalf, these conversations are just too full for a single thread.
i have been out of circulation for an age, and so many questions, i can hardly put my keyboard down. hehe

Don't listen to these people, Giga. It's a free internet, and you can say pretty much anything you want anywhere you want. Contrary to first impressions, this forum is not the sole domain of "What just came out of your nose just now?" or "How long can we post absolute dross before we finally get bored of it and wander off?"

I agree - Gig can flood hootoo with threads if he wants to - no pasa nada. I only thought he'd like to be a bit more focussed. And I was just trying to help him pull his threads together. But no big deal, he can have them spread all over the place if he wants to.

im already corrupted. power couldnt corrupt me anymore. so with the damage done, i will take my place as the chief of staff of the british army. who will then kick tony blair out of parliment and swear undying alligence to the soverign and take back the empire in the name of the queen (or king, by then)

how can power corrupt anyway? i can understand that the persuit of pwer could corrupt, but power in itself, being acchieved, cant really corrupt, except in the persuit of retaining the said power. if the power is guaranteed with no threat then corruption is not possible. look at the monarchy. they have guaranteed power so no reason for corruption. its bush and blair you have to watch out for.
