I'd be happy to have a bit of that flan, Ben.
Sadly, everytime I look up from this virtual insanity I'm faced with the actual clear and present insanity camped out in the wrecked car in my back alley.
I think I'll hang around for a few minutes. At least the cyber madness doesn't yell at me and try to beat me up.
I hope the wine is Rubesco.

Could you pass me one of those panna cotta things while I'm waiting Ben?

I feel like Merry and Pippen on the shattered walls of Isengard. Pass the pipeweed.
And watch out for falling Palantirs (Palantirim?)

Sadly, everytime I look up from this virtual insanity I'm faced with the actual clear and present insanity camped out in the wrecked car in my back alley.
For once I have to say I am lost I can't figure this out,
Have you had a crash?
Has someone you know had a crash?
Has someone crashed into you and now won't leave your back alley?
Seemed a it cryptic to me

anhaga Posted Jul 22, 2004
Sorry, didn't mean to be cryptic.
What I meant is that there is a wrecked car in my back alley. It's been there some time. Now there is a person with genuine, diagnosed mental illness camped out in that car. The mentally ill person is also the one who parked the car in an elm tree some time ago.
No big deal.
But the diversion of a cyberloonie is rather refreshing.

hi SD,
I think anhaga means that from his window he can see a homeless person living in a wrecked car in his alley. Maybe?
Da*m, missed the food and wine.

Actually, it's a little more personal than that. It's the almost-ex spouse with those assault convictions, mental health problems, substance abuse problems, etc.
No big deal.

The wine can be anything you like anhaga, so Rubesco it is. And here's some flan and the pipeweed.
The panna cotta things are *evil* Hoo, and luckily I have a whole hamper of them. Here you go, have two, one is never enough!
*Silently hands Teasswill a glass of wine and a plate of goodies*
Az - don't go - there is food and wine here! Do you want some lovely rioja?
Any more for any more?

I wonder what Tolkien would think if he knew a discussion about him and his books had turned into picnic.
Anyone want any

Mrs Zen Posted Jul 22, 2004
Probably approve. There seemed to be a lot about dwarf bread and tightening belts.
Is that nice, low fat, belt-tightening ? In which case, I'll be having some

Do you have any non-alcoholic Ben. I'm not allowed alcyfrol wiv the drug cocktail
Shall I make some samosas and tandoori chicken? (or the Celtic version, tandoori capercaillie? )

Yep, alcoholic and non alcoholic - the choice is yours.
Mind you, delightful though this spot is, the show has moved on. You can just see it if you stand on tippy-toes, over the brow of the hill.
