Happy Birthday
Maria Posted Mar 26, 2008
I think that it would be a good idea, if someone has time to spare and want to transform it into a wonderful present for all us , an entry about the bibliography suggested here. Also, a selection of links would be very interesting.
Am I already ?

"Highway to Hell
Stairway to Heaven"
As good calls go that was a spectacularly good call, but I reckon a bit of Blinded By Science should be in there too.
/me whacks Highway To Hell on.

Edward the Bonobo - Gone. Posted Mar 26, 2008
I'd like to see that. But only on a copy, obviously.
So Atheism is one years old? All bow down and worship the great prophet Richard (peace be upon him).
And, yes, The Ancestor's Tale is super. The Selfish Gene's groundbreaking - although I hate the title - but TAT is a damned good read. Should be required reading for LDS evangelists.

There are a few fake torrents already. Caute.
I'm not sure I want to waste my time/bandwidth. Also, I can't stand Ben Stein's whiny voice/stupid face etc..

Ancestor's Tale is my favourite Dawkins science book. I shelled out for the nice glossy hardback version with the pretty pictures and diagrams - worth it if you can find a copy.

I bought the glossy hardback when it came out. It is the best book on the subejct since Darwin himself. A few months later at the local Indigo! there was a stack of trade paperbacks for ten bucks apiece so I bought some and have been giving them away.

" Every day as a child , i would pray for a new bicycle . But then i realized god didnt' work that way , so i stole a bicycle and prayed for forgiveness .
