How very true, BB. Like the tag.
The thing about Jelly babies is that you can put more than one in your mouth without too many problems, but with wine gums they tend to fill the mouth more. Also that don't become such a solid wad

Liquid, no the yellow ones don't produce green ones that i've noticed they stick to their own colour, the yellow ones are just common to my mind the red and the green are a much better class of Jelly Baby

Oh I see. So you're colour prejudice against white jelly babies then are you?
Common indeed?
Have they not the same rights as the Red or green? Or The purple or the Black? Or the Yellow?

Liquid you've missed the point completely, it's the yellow ones that are colour prejudice, not me! but yes i'll take the blame for saying the yellow ones are common... that's because they are! there is no easy way to say other than to just blurt it out.
Nobody seems to have mentioned the orange ones yet and they are not too bad it all.. Red, green, orange, black, then yellow (hope I havn't missed any) is there a white one? I can't remember

You could have a point there, Alleycat. The yellow ones are found more often then the others, so it could be they could be classed as common.
So in the pecking order, we seem to have the Red as first class and the yellow as common, huh? Do I have that right, then?

I did not know what a jelly baby was. (I have not watched much Who at all) I googled it and found an entry in a competing but perhaps defunct Guide! I notice there's no jelly baby entry in Our Guide that would educate the ignorant amung us....

Come to think of it Alleycat. I'ver never pecked one either. Mind you neither of us have ever Kippled Sorry Private joke.
A jelly baby is a soft gelatin sweet in the shape of a baby with a flat back and flavoured with fruit juices. It is about an inch long and depending on the fruit flavour, it depends what colour it is.
BB says they've changed makes. I didn't know that. I always thought that they were made by Barretts.

The Liquid Warrior (Vescere bracis meis) Posted Mar 10, 2004
It seems that some people eat them one at a time, biting bits off, whereas others cram a load into their mouths all at once. Interesting.

Bertie Basset..does the Liquorice Alsorts aswell i think lol
they must be eaten in colour order, 1 at a time and you cant start a new colour till youve had all of the same, then you rip the head off, after that some people prefer to chew bits of body off - me, i was never fussed after the head was decapitated lol
did anyone mention the chocolate 1's again? are they new? do they come in the ordinary packets with the others or do they come in separate box?

People that choose the black ones, bite the head off first, are said to be kinky in bed...
There is a whole list of these "meaning of" knocking about.
IV, as for the idea of sharing Jelly Babies, you're just sick you are.
...off to eat a bag in black, red, green, orange, yellow order.
