Not a cute cat or a lad falling off his skateboard. A DOG doing a backflip on a unicycle!

Double vision!
Gotta love the Japanese ability to laugh
at clumsiness and dysfunction. It's a very
healthy primitive response the western whirled
has been suppressing with political correctness.
I wonder if there was anything to the fact that there
seemed to be twice as many teams as usual?
Red, yellow, green and blue uniforms.

Sorry. Yet another Gangnam Style video. However, this one is a flip-book animated version.
But a brilliantly executed effort.

Well sorta wow.
I am no expert on the original, never having sat thru
the whole thing at one sitting, but my professional TV
producer eyeball tells me that they have captured it
frame by frame and done a reduction of detail and then
added an algorithmic skip-frame edit and some (but few)
pencil and colour-pencil overlays (easily done with a
graphics animation generator) and then squeezed the video
playback onto a RL stack of flipping blank pages.
There are some shifts in the centering of the image relative
to the way the flip book is handled. And I am as certain that
no one could have maintained an even flip flow to create an
almost seamless animation any more than anyone would have
bothered to render every character and movement by hand.
The positions and postures are so exactly like the real
footage it can only be a cartoonised version of real footage,
not unlike the AHA video in the 1980s "Take On Me".
http://youtu.be/djV11Xbc914
(It begins with pencil and charcoal still drawings but later
becomes real life footage as they run from the baddies. She
escapes into a waste basket where the crumpled newsprint
comic had been discarded and takes it home to her room where
the good cartoon biker pounds on a wall and breaks thru into
her reality.)
But, as you say, brilliantly executed.

That guy is no "amateur" who made it. If it hasn't already gone viral it will.
But as a scientific rationalist why would people be fascinated by it - when you can go to the "real" video
Artist: Zut alors! It is the art
