There is an acceptable level of rat droppings, maggots, insect pieces and animal hairs in breakfast cereal.
And it isn't zero.

Regarding the painting of statues, the figures in the 'Terracotta Army' were also painted. Most of the paint has gone and companies in China that make replicas don't paint them and seem horrified at the idea of coloured models.

Hmm.. funny how we want to view history in monochrome.
I wonder if it's because of colour TV being the one true authority
on everything and the old whirled was always only in B&W. Or maybe
the recent awareness of colour in antiquity is a ploy by modern TV
to allow them to brighten their programming. The recent colourisation
of WW1 and WW2 footage sure made those old shows more interesting.

Which is very odd considering no one who has been hit from behind by a Rolls Royce has ever expressed that feeling.

Here's a few useless facts I garnered from Reddit. (Feel free to fact check.)
Moose can dive to depths of 20 feet in search of food.
If the Eiffel Tower were melted down but restrained within the area of its base, the pool of iron would be only three inches deep.
The CEO of Food for the Poor, the largest international relief and development organization, is named Robin Mahfood.
Australia once lost a Prime Minister, literally lost him. Harold Holdt, 17th prime minister, went swimming on a Victoria beach and vanished. His body was never found.

Interesting stuff. Especially that last one.
The UK has a Prime minister, and a lot of water; perhaps they should be got together? Not that I am suggesting anything underhand, GCHQ, just for fun.

Can we have another useless fact to go with the first of those? What kind of food would moose dive 20 feet to find?

Another I picked up from a BBC article about interlanguage drift, how words and phrases from languages get adopted in other languages.
It's now fairly common for English speakers to refer to bento boxes, those Japanese boxes with separate compartments for various food items.
In Japan now, these are often referred to as "lunch boxes". It's a nice little swap.

Bath Blue cheese ?
(It's a Somerset cheese for all the non cheese people, and Somerset is currently part of the Irish Sea; if you expect me to do the moose connection then you are on your own.)
