Actually, most frogs or toads exude toxins on their skin. These toxins are intended to keep the frogs or toads from being eaten. Some toxins are more effective on humans than others. Not all humans feel compelled to eat frogs or toads raw, so this biotrivia is probably not generally appreciated.

In general, toxins will affect humans over a fairly broad range from a mild buzz to stopping your heart. That's why it's important to wash your frogs or toads thoroughly before handling them while picking your nose.

'That', Della? I'm not sure I know what 'that' is. Do you mean Mars or one of my ex-wives?

Well, if it's the former, then I'd have to confess it was somewhat breathtaking due to general lack of oxygen. But I didn't have to worry about becoming cancerous from hydroxyl radicals. On Mars one can frequently become red and dead. There's no conflict.

If the latter, well, what can I say that hasn't already been articulated by the lawyers? I frequently lie while looking elsewhere. I expect a certain amount of enthusiasm to be shown for my trouble. When it's not, I lose interest. That, I know is a fatal character flaw, but I don't suppose I can do much about, especially the manifestations of it in the past.

I've tried living backwards and I don't seem to make any progress in past for some reason. One thing's for certain. It doesn't help me remember to take out the trash.
