Don't be disheartened old timer, companies like B&Q value older w**kers like you.

You must admit that older w**kers have more experience and thus more skill. Younger w**kers tend to rush things and then not achieve the desired results. I have always thought that young w**nkers should learn all they can from older ones.

When I started w**king, I must admit I wasn't very good at it...but that was mostly because I grew paranoid by all the people watching me...

Mu Beta Posted Aug 22, 2003
I've never had a problem with people watching me w**k. I think you'll find that w**kmates can offer valuable advice.

I've never been to good at taking direction...but I did find (after I got used to people watching me w**k) that they had a lot of "handy hints" to make my w**king more efficient and beneficial...

I was wondering what you all think about the issue of whether the time of day makes any difference? After all, night shifts usually pay better, is it easier to be a night w**ker do you think?
Some claim it plays havoc with their love life though.
Many early morning w**kers proclaim the joys of the morning glory ; it must be said that one can see some delightful sights rising up at times.
Speaking as a confirmed insomniac, I am sometimes quite happy to w**k all night, but also find a decent afternoon siesta sometimes has an invigorating effct on w**k patterns.
7.30am here, it is rather jolly to see all the office w**kers scurrying about, personally I am off back to bed.....

(I am wondering about a nice, tasty crumpet though...)

Terri, I'm feeling your pain...
I myself having issues regarding "sleep", I find that mornings very rarely find me in my prime...most mornings I just w**k half-heartedly and with little effort...after lunch I can get a great deal of w**king done, and tend to w**k well into the evening, once I gain momentum...
..the amount of nights I've gotten home late because I've been w**king furoiusly and lost all track of time...!!

I agree. I'm one of these people who likes to take their w**k home with them.

Anyone else noticed that after they got married, their w**k load increased? I even found that I w**ked less after my divorce. I suppose it can all be related to responsibility and then relaxed attitudes.

I'd like to be a night w**ker. The pay's good, and there's well less people. Maybe I should try and see if there's a some night shift w**k I could get...

I actually think there'd be quite a few benefits on w**king for one's self, not least of which is the unrestricted use of the internet for w**king purposes.

I'd like to think that if I got married my w**k loads wouldn't vary that much, although if I got pregnant, no doubt I'd be w**king a lot less than I am these days...

Oh, I would be surprised! In this enlightened time w**king while pregnant is perfectly acceptable. In fact many women have w**ked right up until the delivery. As long as the w**k is not strenuous I don't see how w**king could hurt the baby in any way, and I am sure there might even be benefits.

I don't think I'd w**k much while pregnant. I guess it'd depend on how I felt at the time. I've heard women tend to get very emotional when pregnant, and where I w**k it doesn't really pay to get that way because you're dealing with a fair bit of stress each day.

Aye, I'll second that motion...I'm all for women w**king whilst pregnant, in fact I'm bang up for it...but I don't know if I personally could deal with w**king every if I was knocked up...But then it's very possible that w**king could serve as a nice distraction from the changes I was going through...but on the other hand, it might just make them more obvious ?
*I'll get back to you on that one when I get pregnant *

Of course there is the danger that w**king too much would prevent pregnancy, after all you could lose interest and be just too tired.
I like to think that marriage is like a hard w**king job, you only get out what you put into it. Half-hearted w**k will often result in no satisfaction, just as a non-commited relationship might.

I'm w**king so much these days I don't think I've got time to think about starting a family just yet ....
