Oh. I thought your were talking about me - my mistake. Sorry.
I hate unbalanced humans - if that counts.

He said six. We left at eight. The long drive up here and back is not my sodding fault. You didn't get away in time.
Installing things on a new computer.
Getting used to said new computer. The NUM pad is actually at the right of the keyboard so it isn't the full of the screen, if that makes sense. when the hell was the last time anyone saw that on a laptop? Desktops, sure, but I don't think I ever saw it on a laptop- the last one I had had the numbers superimposed on the letters on the right hand side; you had to press the NUMLOCK key to use them (but since I'm left handed, I didn't).
Writing a dissertation proposal, eep.
The 1st years above me, clacking round in their high heels; I'm playing them at their own game.
Alright, I'm going to bed.

Yahoo Mail. Every few weeks it gets it into its head that I'm a spambot or something, my account gets locked down, and I have to go through a whole rigmarole to be able to send mail again.

The misappropriation of the title Trolls - personally a proper troll has never done me any harm, so i don't see why they should be linked with the internet vermin that ruin so much of everyone's' day

Weak milky team.
Someone just made me one of those. I don't think any actual tea was harmed in the process.

When you and your male half of the family drink a hotel out of a brilliant beer on your own
...actually that's more like a petty pride

Also not the worst hate...
Getting a big box of books delivered, and realising you can't start reading *all* of them at once...

Shop staff who talk billhooks.
I mentioned this a couple of years ago but I have had a new experience.
I needed a new watch battery and commented that the first battery had lasted about 10 years and the second only about 2. 'That's because you were putting a new battery in a 10 year old watch'.
On that basis the new battery should only last a couple of months. And the one after that a couple of weeks.
I went somewhere else.

Whiny parents are currently my petty hate. I put something on facebook about being tired because I'm on a run of very long days. A bunch of parents have replied along the lines of 'You should have kids, then you'll be tired'
Well no - you chose to have kids and took the fatigue that goes with it. My current run isn't of my own making and is pretty much out of my control.

HonestIago, I know what you mean. I’m not a parent myself but I'm friends with someone who is and… why put your kids’ dramas all over Facebook? We don’t care. Nor do we care if your child has her first tooth. You do but the majority of us don’t. I know that sounds a bit horrible but I'm sick of the two of them right now. Plus one’s in a relationship so the sickliness of that is also driving me mental; it’s only been 2 months, you don’t know if he’s amazing yet! He could fleece you of all your savings and then you’d really have something to whine about, wouldn’t you?
PH: my bag is packed. With books. Can barely lift it. Also having to go back to university and then get a train to Belfast. Translink don’t make it easy, do they?

Love, get yourself a decent job.
One where you sit behind a desk, have no idea of what you are meant to do, but wear a "power dress".
Public Service is full of them.

Anna, who are you talking to when you go on these rhetorical question monologues?
I gather you're pissed off with rude peopl, polite people, joyful people, grumpy people, single people, married people, loving people, hating people, slow people, fast people, thick people thin people up people down people. In people out people.
But man. Don't you ever just try a small, coherently worded, minor hate?

Anna, I think you need to chill. I get a tad annoyed with one or two people who have the PERFECT children, but why can't they be happy over the little milestones, you can always unfriend them if it disturbs you so much.
As for people in new relationships - have you never had that feeling?
PH for today: rain. Interfering with my satellite signal just when they are telling me where I'm going to be sitting on the Autobahn for an hour.

Oh boy, Sho. You have rain? We're still Mediterranean down here. Slightly cool in the mornings, but consistently sunny and dry, as if it were still August.
Back in 1987 we had to decide whether we wanted cable, and - as the cost at the time was about the same for satellite or cable, we took the cable. I have loads of petty hates about that, but if a bit of rain means you have no reception at all by satellite, then I'll stick with cable, thank you. Better a few lousy channels than none at all!

it doesn't always happen, but it's not a bit of rain, it is a continuous downpoor that has lasted since about Tuesday evening. It all depends which direction it's coming from
we didn't get any summer here - the only summer I saw were the 6 days I spent in Istanbul. Working.

It would be the only way I could get to see British channels if I wanted to. PH - our cable TV company - they promised us French TV in 1987 - we're still waiting (my husband being a French teacher, it would have been useful to record stuff for use in class)
