Patsy said >>People who constantly go on about how bad Microsoft are, and how great their preffered alternative is.
That should be how bad Microsoft (a single corporate entity) *IS* (and that is one that really gripes me)!
Besides, everyone knows that Bill Gates is the Antichrist!

The assumption by (some) americans that everyone on the internet is american (on american websites in particular).
Best song of the century type lists, that always feature Imagine and yesterday in the top 10.
The misuse of statisics
The use of the word Dialogue as a verb e.g. (I want to dialogue you)
The tendency for tabloids to blame real life violence on violence in 'the media' (TV, films, computer games, etc)
The 'word' irregardless, and phrase 'I could care less' (It's couldn't care less)

Drummers who think they can keep a steady beat when they do a fill.
Instrumentalists who say they have a good ear but don't. You're not fooling anyone.

Cats have got life sorted down to the last detail. They wouldn't poo in their own gardens would they? That's where they need to relax away from their own defecations.
KerrAvon - It just won't go in!!!! I don't know why. They didn't teach it to me at school. It's really I know... Sorry.

People who stop at roundabouts even though they have a clear view of all direction and there is no other traffic about. Yet they still stop... aargh!

Car drivers who use bus lanes and people who drive up the hard shoulder to queue jump in jams on the motorway. Never let'em back in !

The Groob Posted Jan 30, 2003
Couldn't agree more. Absolutely infuriating. People DO let them in though, god knows why. Also people who pretend they're turning right and at the last moment jump in a queue to turn left.

People who walk on cyclepaths (and I'm not even a cyclist).
People who stop to have a chat in a doorway or across the whole pavement or anywhere else.
People who assume that hubby is always trying to get past them...actually even people in wheelchairs like to browse round shops sometimes - don't wave us past we just want to see whats on the shelf you're standing in front of.

Saturnine Posted Jan 30, 2003
People who park their trolleys right in front of supermarket shelves and spend ages looking at products so you can't reach the things you want without asking them if they can move.
And then they give you a dirty look before doing so.

I always move there trolley...or *accidentally* whack it with mine...or invade their personal space reaching past them.
Shops who use their disabled toilets as a store cupboard for mops. Shops who have lifts but can never find the keys.
People who park in disabled spaces without a badge.
People who take granny to the shops with them, use her badge to park in the disabled spaces and the *leave her in the car* while they go shopping.
Traffic wardens who don't realise that a car with a disabled tax disc is *just* as entitled to park in a disabled space as a car with a badge...in fact you have to be more disabled to be tax exempt than you do to get an orange badge.
The fact that the people responsible for disabled badges down publicise the fact that every disabled badge has a photo of the holder in it....and the fact that the photo isn't put on the visable side of the badge.
People who talk to me about hubby like he isn't sat right in front of them.
Doctors and social services who are obsessed with the medical model of disability and have never heard of the social model.
The fact that almost noone knows about the DDA.
The fact that students arent eligable for carers allowance
People who assume that pushing a wheelchair is like pushing a buggy - easy to get up and down kerbs and lift up some steps with a full grown man inside.
People who work for airlines, buses and travel agents who ask hubby "Can you walk at all"...well dur.

People who say, when I bring up the topic of tattoos...
"Oh you'll regret that when you get older."
or
"What happens when you go saggy?"
or
"You'll never get a job looking like that!"
Now. Tell me if I'm wrong here. But isn't the first and the last THIER problem, and the second absolutely nothing to do with them, and it is rude for them to make a comment about my physical body?
I don't know why people think they can just walk up to others and say "Ooh let me have a look at your tattoos"...you wouldn't say that to someone who didn't. "Ooh. let me take a look at a small section of skin on your wrist". It's like still part of your body, regardless of whether it is tattooed or not!!!

People who pick you up on grammer without reading the backlog and realising that you're dyslexic.
People who follow cult trends and insist that someone os "the antichrist" when they're just a sneaky, lowdown, cheating, but successful businessman.

Sorry Sat - I know we've talked about this before and it's dead and buried but how is it their problem if they are saying someone will regret it or won't get a job ? OK maybe it's the second point - none of their business but saying it's a problem of theirs doesn't make sense really. So that's a petty hate of mine - using the phrase that's YOUR problem as a line of defence on something that clearly isn't.

Street Venders.
Not ones with proper market stalls and that, but those people who wander around trying to sell you things, or throw a blanket on the pavement and try and sell you things while blocking the pavement or those who wheel stalls around, blocking the pavement, running into people and trying to seel you things.
