Hmm, roaring log fire, looks good, very very warm, room stuffed full of people. I think that it'd get very hot in there
Perhaps somewhere on the ground floor or at least with access for all participants.
Pub quiz definately.
The photo scavenger hunt was good but it was a shame we couldn't get to see the results there and then. How about some other kind of treasure hunt?
Other ideas will no doubt be added but I'd like to come along

It is never the wrong time to visit London.
I will try to be there, but I need dates for travel/hotel arrangements.

Hurrah - I want to go to London anyway, to do some touristy stuff. Plus, it'll be just after Student loan second installments, so it's perfect

Sign me up too!
I too am planning to come down a bit earlier, I'm just itching to do the tourist 'thang' and I still haven't been to the Tate, ooh the shame...

The best thing about the Tate Modern is the view from the café at the top! But then I never have been able to make head nor tale of most modern art
However the London Eye is shiny brilliant and well worth doing.

The fates have been against me the last few meets but with suitable advanced warning even they can't conspire to defeat me now ... mwah ha ha ha ha ha

I will probably come, but I'd like a definite date as soon as possible. If I book four months in advance, I may be able to find a decent hotel in the centre of London, and will probably be able to get a cheap flight at a decent hour.
At the last meetup I left it until 6 weeks before the event to book my flight. The only cheap flights left at that stage were at 6:50 am, so I had to get up at 4:30am.
So a date as soon as you can, please.

I'll have to sneak out somehow... but it's my final year so WD will have to go alone again...

* bounces in excitement *
Even the mention of a meet can do that to me... terrible, isn't it?
It's because I'm in the middle of moving back to University and have stopped off in the terminal room on campus for a bit of h2g2ing.

Oooh... a meet-up that we could go to??
Could it pretty pretty please be after the beginning of term though *and* on a weekend if possible? I.e. in the second half / last third of january... That's the only way we could come along...
Oh... who's "we"...
Me and Eomando, of course.

It's always been on a Saturday before, otherwise all the people who have to go to work wouldn't be able to come.
