Just realised that all my tuits look horrible in Brunel
Those things are a pain in the butt to make.

I don't know if this point has been made already cos I don't have time to read all the posts before I leave for work.
Links in Brunel don't change colour in my browser after I've clicked on them the way they do in Goo (I can't say whether it does the same in Alabaster cos I've never stuck with it long enough to find out). That means, for instance, everyone's name is the same colour on the Who's Online list, making it difficult to tell at a glance how many of the people I speak to regularly are logged on. Same thing in conversations.
Is this something to do with the skin or with my browser? If it works in Goo, I'd have to assume the former.
Apart from that, I like it so far , even if my Scout badge looks like something out of Crystal Tipps and Alistair

Oh, and now that the 'More Postings page is more compressed, could we have more conversations on it? Or even better, a drop down menu to pick how many conversations you'd like on the page, like in Google preferences where you can choose how many results you want them to show on each page.

Easy to do with Opera's panels
Just ad a panel for the link
http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/classic/MP#####?skip=&show=50&s_type=pop&s_upto=&s_target=conversation
Make sure to replace add the correct MP-Number instead of the #####. Then just change the show= value to suit your needs.

Agreed the personal space thing is good. I think I could get used to it. I'm pretty sure it loads more quickly than the others as well.

Two problems spotted:
1) It doesn't stop me from thinking I've reached the end of a conversation when there's still several pages left. (Whups)
2) Try this: Go to Peer Review (or probably any review forum) and click on the "see more guide entries" link. Voila! Huge blank space.

You didn't look, did you?
Sorry, I didn't mean all the info had vanished; it hasn't. The trouble is a large white box is stuck at the top (it's caused by the review forum info box).

I did look. And it does clean up PR. The trouble with the threads still exists, but the PR page is nice and clean.

I'm surprised no-one's commented on the addition of "DON'T PANIC" to the front page, in reasonably large and quite friendly letters as well. After all there were loads of moans when "Help" replaced those words on the button.

Ooh, spiffy.
*goes to userspace*
Interesting layout. Ergh, yellow on black, blue on white, yellow on black, blue on white Think they're overdoing the contrast a bit...
*goes to conversation*
Blech. More white. Hey, where are my frames? How do I see what other conversations are here? What happened to all the red dots? Why don't my visited links look any different?
*posts*
It's hard enough to concentrate without these stupid smileys staring me in the face the whole time. I don't like it on UBB, I don't like it here. Can you please make them go away if you're in expret mode. I'm an expert, I know what the smileys are, so could you please get them out of my face please? I'm going back to Goo now. I might come back if they clean it up a bit.

Oh, and they goofed up with the lighting on the tree widget. The bright red and gray have their highlights at top-left, but the dark red has it at the top. again.

Oh, I get it. My visited links are not visited because I visited them in Goo.

Even if you visit them in Brunel they stay unvisited. it is most confusing! Apart from that I really like it

Just tried it. Don't like it. Changed back to alabaster. Sticking with that until they come up with something *much* better.

It's... well... a... erm... well... how do I put this?
It's... interesting.
I liked the conversation lists on the personal spaces etc. but the fonts used for the My Space/Read/Talk etc. look incredibly out of place and probably shouldn't be so contrasting to the background...
Let me go back into Brunel again and have a think about it... but first impressions:
It looks like a disaffected previously-axed version of Alabaster.
