I think that what Icotan is saying probably is a universal phenomenon. The guys who aren't the best-loking tend to not approach the good-looking women, as they don't think they have a chance anyways.
Unlike Andrew, though, I don't think that there is anything that I'd rate as being better than anything else when it comes to a woman. I'd just say that it'd be the total package that would attract me to her. Of course, if I was in a pub or at a night club, the first thing that would get me to notice her is her looks, but that doesn't mean that I'd go purely on the looks. If I'd meet her through the web (chat room, hootoo, whatever) it'd be her )online) personality that would attract me to her instead.
Nyssa, I'm heading off to look for tickets to Idaho right now...

I just disregarded Mystrunner's post, Em. That helped me steer clear of the confusion.

Actually, can I retract that statement about priorities? It's probably more a case of most women meet all the requirements for things lower down the list, but fewer meet the higher-up items, so they tend to seem like an issue in more cases. Sense of humour, you might be amazed to discover, is incredibly rare -- but only because I have a very odd sense of humour and therefore have odd tastes ...
... to be honest I'm sick of the whole analysis thing, anyway. It's only an attempt to formulate a working psychology. It works the way it works and you can all bloody well guess.
Jesus, I'm grumpy this morning. What's got into me?

I should add that the exception is own recording studio, which most women don't have, and which is only there because I was feeling facetious.

if they have a microphone on a computer and mean to record sound that could be counted as a recording studio at its most basic level

Yeah, but I'm about to own one of those. I'm talking about a soundproofed echo-deadened room with a booth attached containing a mixing desk and a 24-track analogue tape recorder. Of course, I eventually plan to set myself up with an eight-track analogue mobile (Tascam 38, more than likely, plus a sixteen-track desk) but this is sometime in the future, ideally when I have a Volkswagen camper van to put it all in.
Oh shooze.

Bit ambitious if you ask me.

No, not really. Some people spend lots of money travelling to Greece for three weeks, and I'm going to spend it on my own mobile studio.
I can pick up the tape deck for around £500, depending on wear and tear, and probably convince people to give me £50 for using it. Plus I have a brother doing a degree in recording and music who can teach me how to use it all. I've seen a 16-track mixer for about £200, microphones you can pick up for around £25, and the camper van will therefore be the most expensive component of the system, and lots of people have those.

In truth it is, but it has a paltry amount to do with female anatomy, to which we shall return with enthusiasm.
I love the way the female pelvic girdle goes. You know, that slightly ridged thing?

THat's a very disturbing thing to read when you're sat in a classroom with your friends able to look over your shoulder.
and no I don't know

I'm sure I do but I don't know what it is because I've never heard that term before.
