i do that all the time,this has been going on for about three years.
i get really fed up with it and want her to stop saying it,however i dont want to say it to her as i dont want to hurt her feelings.
why do women worry about thier wight and size so much?

well it comes back to the media, in magazines women are show pictures of women who are all a size eight or less and this is advertised as the norm. Then we see that our hips are slightly bigger or that are thighs aren't as thin as the models and think, "why god, why are we complete lard monsters and have cellulite an elephant would be proud of?" What we should really start thinking is that these women haven't had a decent meal since they were being breast fed and that all the pictures are touched up, plus they have hords of makeup and hair designers following them around. Also that the normal woman isn't shaped like a boy (ie no hips, bum or bust) normal women have all of these and it's for that that guys find us attractive.

Also fashion dictates what you have to be a certain shape or size to wear certain fashions, so when you see something you love and because you've actually got hips it looks weird on you.

It's ridiculous that we think like this, especially when you've got someone who think you're gorgeous whether you've got a big bum or not, but we do and it's something you've got to live with unfortunatly.

Do women have a poor memories? Is that the problem. I`m sure M.J has told his girl that she is beautiful, a perfect 10. Does she share a poor memory with many other women? My wife is the same. Constantly in need of being told `she`s beautiful`. I told her that 18 years ago! Do I have to repeat myself?

I think we do...but our minds also play tricks on us, making us go through "fat periods" where you can't find anything to wear and feel like you're the size of a house.

I can't explain it more than that to be honest

what i dont get she can feel fatone minute and then about 2 hours later she all cheery and happy and doesnt feel fat.
are these just mind games?

sometimes i pretend not to hear her or try to change the subject
i even pretended to fall and bang my head,i just lay there for ages to stop her thinking about it

still i love and thats all that matters
i`ll just have to put up with it even when we are in our rocking chair when the grandkids coming to visit.

And see that's what matters and we get that but it still doesn't stop use feeling insercure about our bodies

Luke, good to hear that you don't care, but: It's all in a woman's mind when it comes to feel too fat and too ugly and too...

Sometimes some w*****s really make you feel too fat and and and... and at moments you are not too self-assured you my feel bad about it even if you don't give a damn about the people telling you so.

And there are moments when even the person most loved in your life can tell you it isn't the way you feel... you still feel the same way...

When I was about 17, I couldn't stand myself at all. It changed every second day during the 21 years since then, but there are still days, I'd rather like to draw the courtains and stay at home because I dislike myself so much...

Anyway, I can cope much better with the way I look, the older I get.

Never had a problem with PMS... I am most nasty when I have to get up in the morning due to working... even nastier when there is no coffee... So blame it on missing coffee

I can survive without coffee in the morning, I'm hyper if I manage to get a cup before I'm out the door.
