Bonjour kat, sixSepts et everyone else Je ne sais what you're talking about, je suis un trés trés friendly, refined chap I should add that I can read/understand French reasonably well, mais mon grammaire, spelling and indeed quelque chose j'ecris est seulement cela qui je remember hearing au parler while I was in France, with the occasional 'verification' on altavista So, s'il te plait, point out any mistakes Incidentally, while I was in France, the only place I ever used 'vous' was in shops - everywhere else, even meeting family of the girl I was with, it was tu partout... mind you, I didn't get invited to many fancy dinner parties

King Cthulhu I am still learning the lanuage but now again French Phrases keeping popping in my head. French is easier to express your feelings than English. Here are more items from my French Phrase book, chosen at random.

I was given a French phrase book when I left... I found it useful for the first couple of weeks, but there are only so many phrases you can hold in your head, after that you just have to make it up as you go along Actually, the section I liked best was on 'Frisky French'- phrases to use in the bedroom. I could just imagine someone seducing a French person of their preference, and sneaking peeks over the edge of the bed for some appropriate phrase

That sounds very but then again French is a better lanuage to seduce anyone apart from Italian. My dictionaries and phrase books all have the naughty words in them.

Oui, bien sûr, mais je pense pausing to flick through a phrasebook might kill the mood a little J'aime "Attache-moi!" particularly - not that I used it, I hasten to add

faire l'amour problems when having to use a French phrase book to translate.

Et nombre vignt-something est un actress et calls sa-self Juliette Brioche - j'ai told her non! mais will she listen?

Et tous les autres sont called noms français obscure (je blame la mère) que je ne know how to prononce pas, moins orthogrphiwhatsit

J'ai pas *any* enfants imaginaire - J'ui trop busy looking after mes subjects dans Le royaume de Balwyniti. Vraiment, sometimes ils act les mêmes comme des enfants!
