There was bright sunshine until late lunch time but after that it became more sporadic as the clouds built up but by 5pm the clouds thinned out and were scattered. Now there is a thin layer of clouds and there is a visible with .

It has been a better day than forecasted it was a little bit cloudier and it was not as sunny in the morning as it was yesterday but it improved as the day went on and the sunshine lasted until 4 pm when it started to go down.

Today the sky has been very clear with no clouds and there has been plenty of brilliant sunshine. The sky now is clear apart from the very few thin clouds. The is out but it is lobsided.

It has been cloudy today and cold with brief and very short sunny spells.

Hi everyone, I'm in Margam, Port Talbot, South Wales, it's 8:21pm on the 4th of Febuary, it feels freezing cold but don't know the actual temperature outside, sorry! I've got frost forming on the front of my pick-up truck if that's any help?! I know it's only about 15C in my lounge so I've had to put the heating on for the second time this "winter" (the first time was yesterday!), also apparently clear skies, but can't see them as the steel works that are at the bottom of my road are blotting out almost every star known to Man (or woman!)

By the way, I hope someone is keeping track of all these replies so that we can do our own little research project into global warming!! Lol!!

Bright and sunny,but somewhat cool.Sorry to hear about the steelworks at the bottom of your road,Lucky Lonnwy.I only have to worry about cricket balls flying over a wall during the summer months as the building where my flat is backs onto Scarborough Cricket Club.At least I get to see 2 of Yorkshires games for nothing each year,though,thanks to somr bods I know who have a private balcony at their hotel that backs onto the ground.

Good idea about keeping tabs on the replies,by the way.
