compo's corner
Here,at last,is a bit about myself.
I am 52 years of age,live in Scarborough,North Yorkshire and am Currently unemployed.In the past,I have worked as a postman,long distance driver,hospital porter,nurse (qualified as enrolled nurse,1988)and other jobs to numerous to mention.Have also done voluntary work with the disabled in North Devon with the Leonard Cheshire Foundation.Have also done voluntary work at hospitals in the Coventry/Warwick area and conservation work with Devon Countryside Service based in Bideford.My main interests are listening to music - usually blues/rock/heavymetal and a bit of AOR.
I also have a life long interest in railways,but I can't be found at the end of a station platform in an anorak!!!!
Other interests include reading,walking,real ale,quizzes and solving crosswords.(Not very successfully at times with the last one)
Have been told I have a wierd and wacky sense of humour and that I've turned cynicism into an art form.Nothing wrong with being a cynic as you tend to see things as they are and not how they shoud be.
