It has been raining all morning and throughout lunch time. It started to die down around 2pm. Dry but over clouded the rest of the time. No sign of snow, sleet or hail yet. It is 23:02 and the sky is 35% clear and the rest clouded over. Even with it been mainly cloudy, the stars are still visible in the clear area.

About 75% cloudy but dry. Quite cold. Currently about 1-2c. Looks like it could snow.

last night about teatime it tryed to snow, but didnt last for more than 20 mins, been frosty overnight, and still a bit cold, BUT at the moment the sun is shining like a summers day,we are sure having a weird winter here in yorkshire, england, on the 23rd jan 2007 at 9-35am jim

Well it is warmer than it has been for awhile in my neck of the woods(North Dakota,US)but sure is gloomy now. It was sunnier this morning but I think the forecast is for snow...yup that four letter word that starts w/ S. Well all have a goot day. Peace. Uffdamaida

Biting wind, very cold, but dry (at the moment). Have tucked all the plants up in fleece, just in case

Today it has been bitterly cold with some sunny intervals. Cloud covering )fluffy grey clouds) 75%-80% during the day and at night time the cloud has thinned out (70%) with some stars being visible. There also is a new .

Wednesday 24th Jan, 10.50am - London

It snowed over night. Probably about two inches. Everything is white, the tube system is in chaos, and my central heating is on the fritz! Fantastic. Currently about 2c. Expected to drop to -2c tonight. Grey and overcast skies. Somehow gloomy doesn't seem so gloomy when everything on the ground is white!

Not a fan of snow myself. Not really a fan of precipitation in general. Give dry sunniness anyday, regardless of temperature!

Snow is all gone already. Now it's just ing freezing!!

Sussex coast: Have had a dusting of snow which started at around 6.30 this morning. Has all melted now, just pretty cold!

Early this morning at 6am there was quite a good amount of snow fell but it only lasted for half an hour. The snow that fell disappeared by 11am. During the day some sunny intervals.

Was snowing when I went to bed last night at 11:50. Probably about an inch thick but has frozen too.

London - Thursday 25th - 09.20

Dry and fairly bright but with lots of clouds around. Had a few insignificant flurries of snow this morning. Generally dry though. About 1c right now but quite a wind chill there so feels at least 2 or 3 degrees colder than that.

Early this morning there was a few flurries of snow but it turned to drizzle and later on in the morning and the early afternoon there was some spells of sunshine.
