Rain, rain and more rain here in Cumbria

It started off very windy in the morning but by lunch time it died down. There was a few spots of rain in the day and by late afternoon it became very windy and it is still windy now at 22:37. A very cold and very windy day.

Central London - Wednesday 10th January - 09:00

Wet and miserable and dreary and grey, but very mild. Once again, it was very blowy during the night but is much calmer now.

I have just noticed that this winter has been so mild so far, that there are still some leaves on the trees outside my office window! Very unseasonal!

Today it was maybe 20-25F and very windy so it doesn't actually feel that warm...brrrrrr. Also no sun which dappers the mood a tish. Tomarrow iffin we is lucky it might hit 10F for a high and be even colder the next day. Ppl and cars don't do well in this kind of weather but I guess we have to take what we get. Peace. Uffdamaida

It started very wet this morning and by late morning it had stopped raining. The sun came out by the early afternoon but it was not long before it became cloudy again. It has not been so windy as yesterday but still cold. It is the first time in a week or more that the sky has been clear and the stars are completely visible. Yet I cannot see the moon.

First day of real winter today. Below freezing, and the wind is brutal. Hope it will be better tomorrow. Blue bird Long Island N.Y.

from the few later entries we are all having the lovely wind and rain.at about 7pm last night the wind started to build up, and about midnight the rain was pelting down, the house a shook all night, i cant beleive ive still all the slates there lol

its now 9am,11th jan 2007, and it looks like there is no sign of a letup yet, there are some real heavy blows without warning, and the rain is still coming down,

Last night very windy, the wind was howling and it caused damaged to gates etc. It was still quite windy today with some droplets of rain. The sky has clouded over and it has been like that all day but with very brief periods when there were breaks in the clouds.

It still has been a cold and windy day with the sky clouded over all throughout the day until the evening. According to the weathercast it will be better this weekend. I saw the Daily Express headlines saying that will be worse storms next week.

Contrary to weather reports yesterday todays weather has not been any better. It has been just as windy as Friday and there has been rain from 20:20 and it stopped raining at 22:00.

There was some rain overnight/early hours of the morning. The rest of the morning/afternoon sunny intervals but it clouded over by the late afternoon.

It's pretty cold out there tonight, not wet and windy just crisp and cold. The wet weather has been forecast for mid-week. Fingers crossed it'll miss us.
