Bad losers?

I reckon the results will be as follows:
England 2 Brazil 2 England on penalties (I begin to worry!)
Germany 1 USA 2 They've made it to the semis before (1930), if this happens they should build the "Bruce Arena" national stadium.
Spain 3 S.Korea 1 The bubble will burst the spanish will play with 10 men this time
Turkey 1 Senegal 1 (turkey win by golden goal after being reduced to 10 men)
I reckon it'll be an England Spain final, and Spain will win in a most unfair manner perhaps we will have a russian linesman!.

French linesman you mean. Now that would be bad.
I stand corrected, Lettuce.

England 1 Brazil 4. ronaldo with a hattrick as mills and cole are utterly ambushed by roberto carlos and cafu
Germany 4 USA 0 as the forces of logic get a grip and the US are lascerated by 'footballers' (landon donavon is on this issue of sports illustrated cover tho!!!)
Spain 3 Korea 1 Korea with the early goal on the break, morrientes with two
Senegal 2 Turkey 1 Bouba Diop scores the golden goal

The Pta Index company have just updated their team of hte tournament based on 300 different categories and it is so far.
Goal
D Seaman ENGLAND
Defence
F Arce PARAGUAY
R Ferdinand ENGLAND
T Linke GERMANY
A Cole ENGLAND
Midfield
D Beckham ENGLAND
A Svennson SWEDEN
E Belozoglu TURKEY
Rivaldo BRAZIL
Forwards

The categories take into account every singel event during the game nad the location on the pitch where it has taken place. With point added on and taken off the player dependent on their involvemnet in these actions. Makes an interesting read and shows how weel behaved the English team are as ever.

Purely from a comedy name point of view, it's great to see Seaman and Arce in the same team. No? Please yourselves.

I was hoping someone would spot that.
Also Ronaldo Close (sic) might be a prophecy for tomorrow unfortunately.

Wouldn't it just be the Bruce Arena??
Thanks for the Corlina info - I can't quite find the picture I'm looking for, but I'll keep looking!

Well done England! Heskey passes to Owen, the defender is wrong-footed, the 'keeper is committed... and Owen puts it in the back of the net!
But Brazil look dangerous on the attack...
England need to score a couple more times soon!!

Hoping that the jinx of the blue shirts holds for a little while longer...
England score!
Uncle Heavy [sic] Posted Jun 21, 2002
im surprised anyone honestly expected us to win that...one victory - just - over our arch rivals and one three nil over a team whose keeper was acting like a muppet and two torrid draws...
England fail
Vip Posted Jun 21, 2002
Ah well. The football hysteria is over.

England fail
Rainbow Posted Jun 21, 2002
Well, I think our lads did brilliantly getting as far as they did, and as us losers in England say "It's not the winning, but the taking part that counts!!"
