Thanks for the warm congratulations everyone, but my work snowballed basically because others, besides myself, got people to vote.
I have in the past done some campaigning for the Labour party here in the UK, but its much harder in real life.

Commander super moo what has the voting for who should play Happy dude in the movie got to do with Iraq. Or are you being ironic?. I'm afraid in this thread real lfe politics is not what what we're about. I merely mentioned my one time activity years ago as an aside.

I have to wonder.... How exactly do you keep track of who voted for who?
Spreadsheet?
Hastily scrawled notes on little slips of paper?
Photographic memory?

He prolly keeps a little pile of jellybeans for each candidate. Everyone gets a different color/flavor.
Your pile is all the black ones, Lady Scott.

I have a very simple text file which tells me who voted for which candidate and in which post number they voted........
though I think I'll change to AWs counting method...... that's a much better way to keep count!

When you switch to the "jellybean" method, ER, we'll be expecting the vote counts to fluctuate wildly from day to day ... depending on your appetite.

Lady Scott Posted Aug 5, 2004
Better check your math - that's 2.5 votes!
Unless of course ER's had a particularly strong craving for that flavor of jellybean today.

ER *hates* black jellybeans, so your votes are completely safe, Lady Scott.
That is, unless he feeds them to someone else who happens to like them.

Well you realise that now you have to tell us the colour and flavour of each candidate's jelly bean.
