I have to say that the jelly bean counting method has been a complete failure.... all the bowls which previously contained various numbers of coloured jelly beans (representing the votes for each candidate) now contain nothing except IOUs. 
All the bowls except Lady Scotts, which still has 38 black jelly beans in it.
The problem was the "half" vote..... I chopped both a red and a green jelly bean in half, to represent a half vote for Liv and George respectively, and ate the extra half...... from that point on it was a massacre.
