second...re: birmingham. A) duh, it's not just a place in alabama. and B) concrete over a city on an island is not exactly my idea of the 'open road'..not in any ideal way anyway.

actually, island + cement isnt always bad or even ugly. I really, really loved the drive down through the Florida keys. That is, when oncoming passing traffic isn't bearing down on you.

I take umbrage at that remark. I am not in the least wasteful, frivolous, or spendthrifty. The rest is about right, though.

I don't have any small moments to treasure, that's the problem. I don't even have any good old days to look back on. I only tried it once, which went pretty awful. I just want some sign that girls could like me either physically or mentally. I mean I haven't been able to get a relationsship for the past ten years, why should the next ten years get any better?

If anyone knows of a good way of meeting girls, or just people, here in Malaysia I would like to know.

Actually today I had brunch(well, breakfast for me, lunch for her) with a girl from my dorm. Nice, friendly girl. And quite purty too. That was nice, but sadly she's leaving for Thailand tonight.

Poor Xan...but at least you're straight. I find myself having a little difficulty in the girls locker room on campus. So many pretty girls..no chance I'll ever get to have one . I mean, what are the odds that a pretty, like-minded girl will be bi? And then, to make the statistics worse, what are the chances that we'll be mutually aware of the fact instead of just assuming that we're straight like most other people. And don't suggest I move to San Francisco - I'd rather be single than live in a big city in the US

And potholer, you must understand that a fair amount of my posting gets done when I'm exhausted, ticked off, frustrated at my personal life, at 5 AM, high, etc..so I'll love you in spite of your irritability if you love me in spite of my quirks.

That said, it's too bad it appears no one is around. I'm at school, I'm in a reasonable frame of mind..you might actually encounter the "real me."

Anyway, I'm around at the moment, though still feeling a little odd after an unsettling visual disturbance earlier today, which has been diagnosed elsewhere on h2g2 as a mild headache-free migraine.
