I must admit I´ve never seen a Shakespeare play. One of the things I still have left to do in life. But I did get inspired to read some classics, and went out and bought Gulliver´s Travels and The Portrait of Dorian Gray.

Xan! I'm running a bit behind here I guess. Well, nfg-wise I seem to have one. Long distance for now still. I've finally sort of settled in to it. I didn't hear from him for a couple of days a couple weeks ago and became convinced that he was going to dump me. But he did call and didn't dump me. I no longer freak out when I don't hear from him for a couple day. Buy he also knows he needs to call or email so I don't freak out. He's trying finish repairing the Chevy Suburban he has so he can sell it and then hopefully use the money to come out here (to minnesota from california) when he gets eligible for vacation in october.

Right now I'm drinking Southern Comfort. I'd never had it before. It's really good!

Am sitting in an internet place in Yangshou waiting for my appointment to have a massage lesson, I plan to practice on some very lucky people when I get home . Though Fuzzy may not be one of them, had an email from him but not a word about missing me , wasn't a long one all told. Hey hoo. Not fussed, I'm thousands of miles away!
They're looking for english teachers here.. it seems like a pretty good deal, will definitely research more when I get home. Would meet NFGs from all over the world!

Feels a bit sad sitting on the net in China, but not a lot else I can do for this half hour.. my baggage is still a few hundred miles away in ChongQuin... the plane left it behind!

There was one of the Danish guys I worked with at Xerox, he went to China to do some English teaching. Though in his case, he seems to be one of the only westerners there.

Volley was cancelled last week, hopefully it will go forth today.

Try the British Council. They paid for my holiday/mandarin speaking course excepting flights this year and have said I may be able to get free course in teaching English (normally for post-graduates but what the heck) next year .

Not telling someone you're missing them is generally a bloke thing I think Queegle. He's probably either just didn't think to write it or is terrified of being accused of being clingy . Especially given before you went away you made it clear that nothing's happening at the moment.

Bouncy - Fuzzy's not the type to hide his feelings, certainly never has done! He was quieter on that front after his mum visited, the weekend before I went away. It's cool. I missed him terribly the first week, but fine now, especially as I've nothing to stoke my fires as it were. Plus we're off to his mum's oop North a couple of weeks after I get back. Just enjoying my holiday!

Had a head massage lesson earlier on, was filling my brain with info during the theory, but was very difficult to concentrate during the practical! ! Then had a Chinese cooking lesson this evening - made four dishes and ate them.. were delicious and I cooked 'em!
Just been wandering and ended up buying a silk chinese dress for a friend. Wasn't going to but she beat me down to 6 quid sterling..!
It is pretty darn fantastic here

Oh, and, I'm in the middle of China, and I managed to have a bottle of Guiness last night

Though to be truthfull, finding Nice Friendly Girls is actually relatively easy. Its finding single NFGs thats difficult.

Yes. It's alarming how I'm only 20 and already it seems that all the good ones are taken. Makes me feel like an old maid.

Heck, I just turned 22 and every girl I know, Nice and Friendly or otherwise, has got a boyfriend/fiancee/husband.

I can find NFGs and NFGs who are single only NFGs who are single and ready to date the spawn of satan (ie me)is the problem. And when I find one, either many more come along who I later realise I don't have a chance with or they become sober. Predicament.
