Where can I find some nice friendly girls?
Xanatic Posted Apr 18, 2002
Reminds me to start a "Typos, your greatest hits" thread.

Surely "your greatest mis-hits" would be more appropriate.

Shouldn't be laughing, you're right - you started all this, with your dirty thoughts.

Thanks everyone
Linda - I anticipate a summer clothes shopping spree in a month or so as everything is too big, am starting to look like Rodney in that camel coat from Del.
jwf - you don't think I actually asked the track-suited demi-gods about my plateau do you? They are far too scary. No, I just asked my saggy mates!
Master B - yep, I hate you.
Xan - work for 16 hours a day, 5-7 days per week, in front of a pc, doing no exercise other than clicking your mouse. During the time that you do this (about 2 years should do it) live in hotels. Only eat room service food after you get back exhausted to your room, just before you go to bed. That should do it! Oh yes, and give up smoking at the same time.
Maybe you should try looking in the gym for some nice friendly girls - not the pneumatic lycra-clad uberbabes, but the crimson-faced sweaty ones that probably brush up alright after a shower...

Someone on here earlier mentioned meeting women in bookstores. I was at a bookstore here, and they are arranging a party called "Books & Lovers". Where you can meet your likeminded match. I guess I better go there then

Hmmm...let us make love in ze bookshops...
The British are too scared to *talk* to each other in WHSmiths, let alone pick up dates.

Blimey, this conversation really takes some funny turns doesn't it?!
Kelli, about the losing weight thing you have my sympathy and my admiration. I've been on diets several times but when I don't lose weight I just give. I don't really need to lose much weight, I think it's just inbuilt in my psyche that if I'm not on a diet I'm being naughty. Ah well..
B your comment reminds me of that joke about the two men and a woman from each nationality all washed up on an island

I'm not sure I know that one...do enlighten me.
Forgive my cynicism, Kelli , but I've never met you in real life and for all I know, you could be a woman with an attractive body and weight-paranoia, which is the case for 95% of the female population.

Isn't calling WH Smith a bookshop a bit of a stretch?
Where can I find some nice friendly girls?
Mu Beta Posted Apr 19, 2002
Well...it used to be one.
To be honest, I can't name one thing other than books I've bought from Smiths in the last 10 years.

No...remember what happened last time a turned up on this thread?
To drift into another thread...if you ever make it as far as England, the women in Birmingham are far easier than the ones in Oxford. Just don't let them talk to you, OK?
