What's The Most Embarassing Thing That's Ever Happened To You

I can beat your ATM story.... I got my money and went to get my card, but it wasn't there! The machine must've swallowed it! So I went into the bank, got them to check the machine and everything, nothing. I said "well it's disappeared in there somewhere!" They checked again, nothing, nor anything on their computers to say it had been retained...
then they asked me to check in my wallet......
... and of course, there it was, I'd put it away before getting my cash without even thinking about it...

I once pushed the buttons to get £20 quid out, took my card and put it in my wallet, and then walked away. I got to the corner and realised I hadnt picked up me cash. So I rushed back (I could see no-one had been near the cash point) and the machine had taken back the money. So then I had to phone the bank and tell them how Id walked away from my money...

I do that too! Some of the time I'm rehearsing (on the way to work is an odd time to do it, but never mind), but often I'm just singing away to myself, getting odd looks from passers-by...

I often mutter to myself walking alone. I dont know why, but Ill be thinking and some of the thoughts will vocalise. This happened the other night when a mate jumped out from behind a car to try to surprise me. I think he was the one who was surprised.

I do that too. It seems quite common. I just had a customer on the phone, which given her accent I couldn't understand. After ending the conversation I said to myself "I couldn't understand a word she said..."

Hmmm. Nothing that embarrassed *me*... though I think I have embarrased other people a couple of times.
Unlike me, I know...
