I fear someone will know the answer to this , but
If the the ball in a game of football(soccer) bounces off the referee and scores, and that is the only goal in the game, who wins? If neither side, does that mean the Ref wins?

The ball remains in play if it rebounds off the referee (or other official). If it subsequently scores a goal, that's just bad luck. The goal will presumably be credited to whoever kicked it at the referee.
