You can call me TC Posted Mar 25, 2001
Assuming this is a male complaint, might I recommend sitting down - not a bad idea if your knees are still shaking!
For a woman it's annoying enough not to have a toilet at hand

People who you've met umpteen times before but who still fail, through a holier than though attitude, to remember what your name is and think that by calling you "mate" you'll think they're being friendly ... grow up, get a life and get your head out your ar$e.
Or am I being too harsh?

James, if you but a plunger pot, also known as a cafétière, you won't need to buy filters. You will have to buy slightly rougher ground coffee though, as the filter ground coffee is slightly too fine.

People who, no matter how often I meet them, I can't remember their name. But don't worry errr ... I won't call anyone mate

Second vote for moderators .
Can you believe they just remove today's Question (!) from the h2g2IQ quiz (presumably) because it had the word Fanny in it?!
It was referring to someone's name.

Fanny is a good old fashioned name. It sound as though the moderators need moderating. Anyone called Fanny is likely to be really hurt and upset by that kind of censoring of their name.

This is guaranteed to get moderated and I'll probably be heckled but hey ho, it's monday ...
some Fannies could do with moderating

These are a few of my least favourite things:
Photocopiers that keep having misfeeds,
Fax machines that keep having misfeeds,
Computer printers that keep having misfeeds,
Hole punches with a prong that sticks,
Staplers that can't get a staple through more than 5 pages,
Telephones.
That'll do for now. It was very therapeutic to get that out of my head.

What really bugs me is when I finally decide to write a Guide entry, my first, is that I get almost all the way through, and it's a long entry, and half of it disappears! With no trace! And MaW is next to me and he doesn't know where it went either! How irritating is that?
Then I got fed up and as I'd forgotten what I wrote then the exhilerating subject which I had chosen may now never be fully explored by this community.
That really annoys me.

Moderators; computers that don't do what you tell them; printers that refuse to recognise the fact that they do have paper; uncomfetable chairs; unchairable tables; people called Fanny; people whose name I can't remember.
Phew; that will do for now.

But that is why they are rich. they dont really care what people think of what they are doing as long as it makes them cash. really there are two ways to get rich in this world you are eather lucky and have a great Idea or get descoverd by a talent scout or somthin like that....or you dont care what you have to do, say, who you have to hurt or anything els as long as it gives you some cash.
dont feel so hard done by if you want to know how lonly being rich is talk to V (one of the resherches on here) he got lucky and invested in some stocks that has steddly increased in value by a facter of 3 for the last 2 months so he is now loded...has about 6 real friends and other people just after his money I think I would prefer to be skint

Begrudgers (is that a word?)
Anyway - what I mean is people who begrudge others their success.
Like all those people who knock David Beckham for his dress sense - oh yeah, Mr. Smartly dressed - how about you deliver an inch perfect 80 yard cross field pass under pressure from an international class soccer defender then .
