The 'Ghost Dog - Way Of The Samurai' soundtrack. Not the crappy album available here, though, the 'inspired by' nonsense, but the actual score imported from Japan

Andalucia - Gordon Grahame. What a great middle eight.
But it's midnight. If I sing along to the headphones I'll sound like a prat and wake everybody else up.

"Stand in the rain" - Flood. Takes me back to the eighties and guitar bands like the Smirks and Strangeways. I'm going to play that one again!

The Stranglers were a fascinatingly dark and sardonic band before it was popular. Kinda like Brinsley Shwartz, only better.
Hugh Cornwell, I believe, still has a version of it around somewhere.

If there's one outfit I would not compare the Stanglers to it is Brinsley Shwartz. The Stranglers rode punk, wouldn't have existed without it, so they were punk. They were too old (even the bass player), but what else could they be?
BS went on to greater things with Graham Parker. The Stranglers stared sullenly at us through a few great songs.
