Things that make you feel old.

Well, if I don't get Denise Richards in my stocking* this Christmas, I'll finally have to accept I'm too old to believe in Santa.
*Mind you, she could wear her own

As your memory gets worse, you have more things to remember...
Example from my life - realising that I have left my stick upstairs just as I reach the bottom step and need to use it!
...and hence this thread makes me feel old by reminding me.

Today is a day that makes me feel old. I said to ewif "What you fancy doing on New Year's Eve?". "Quiet night in" she says. Hallelujah! We haven't been invited to any parties and if we were then going to the party would, in the back of my mind, feel like a chore. As a young'un not being invited to a party could lead to a collapse of self esteem. However, the reality has hit me that as I age I am gradually turning into my parents

YouTube makes me feel old. Why wasn't it around when I were a young lad in a garage with my mates and a bunch of guitars and stuff?
I too think tonight will be a quiet one. I really can't be doing with the four day recovery period from a heavy NYE.

I hear that Roy. We tried to start up many groups when we were young (at a younger age we had had to get round the problem of having six tambourine players ) and I'm sure we'd have kept going if we'd known there was an audience (or *potential* audience). Mind you, you have to sort the wheat from the chaff on YouTube: "This is me talking philosophy with my goldfish" or "This is me doing a bad impersonation of George Bush" becomes a after a while. "Fat lady falling down cellar" is something I never tire of though.

I mainly use it for old videos (just had a Tears For Fears session, now on 'Return Of The Giant Hogweed') and documentaries (there are quite a lot of Horizons on there) and avoid the front page stuff, but still wish it'd been around in 1988 (and MySpace come to that!)
Maybe I'm just jealous because a lot of the young bands on there are way, way better than we were.

Look on the bright side, Nick. In the UK, you can legally be a grandparent at 33 years 6 months. That's if you celebrate your 16th birthday by having it away, become a parent as a result and then your offspring does the same. So you've had 9 years grace.

Now that premies as young as seven months or so can pull through, we can shorten that, even
