They might have forgotten to synchronise their fag breaks.

I know it seems highly unlikely, but I'm seriously entertaining the idea that they're *different planes*.

A daring hypothesis! Highly unlikely!

Very. I can't see it taking off though.

It's as plane as the nose cone on your face.

Oh, will you all stop punning!
It's actually sunny outside, but cold. Around 4c, the news said.
Kate, since there's not much distance between Manchester and Liverpool, feel free to assume that it's equally gloomy/sunny/rainy/snowy in both.

Only joking, pun away!
Yes, cold, dry and foggy. Awful weather. And now the sun decided to hide in the clouds. Sensible ball of gas that it is!

"'ere Sun, can i have a word in your shell-like? Now i know you're just trying to be helpful, but there's job demarkation to consider y'see. If the Moon was suddenly to take it on herself to appear at midday, where'd we all be then? Now you just go and sit behind those clouds there, and we'll call on you to appear at the appropriate time ok? If you gives 'em an inch, theose management fascists will take a light-year, take it from someone who knows the system"
*Wanders off to contemplate strike action over the unseasonal appearance of daffodils in December*

I'm highly amused by that, airscotia.
The sun is attempting another performance, creeping in from behind very grey, heavy looking clouds. The tree looks quite naked and wet and the blue gutter on the side of the building is just standing there. A truck has just gone past. Not much else happening.

The neighbour's decorations are blinking wildly
It spooked the horse that just went by, and I'm sure it makes the neighbour's cows give less milk!
Other than that, not much. Ah, bliss, to be away from the fighting neighbours!

Some kind of horribly bright, flashing lights. Some of them are turquoise!
I'll be putting up our own lights on the porch/balcony later - simple white lights wound around the rails.
