Doesn't everywhere do that with ? I don't drink it myself so I might not notice the odd place doing it wrongly.
Granny, I always find comments like that slightly ominous. Is the next meet going to be that York one?

Some places do, most don't seem to. And the ones that do let the pint settle only do so for a short time. Most of the time I'm not a drinker prefering but when in rome as they say...

That's a shame, Granny, and I don't know of owt else in the offing.
Like I say, Phil, I'm not up on the finer points of pouring - too busy mourning the gill of going down the side of the glass as they try to get the head down to a reasonable size.

*Steps up to the bar,two years later*
Most of the pseudo-irish bars went thro` the "pull `em slowly" phase.
Didn`t last long though, couldn`t sell enough, at that rate of pouring!
please, Bagpuss. And whatever you and Granny are `avin.

In the absence of any new members getting the drinks in, guess I'm buying then
A V&V in your largest container please Bagpuss.
Plus more for me (although the choice here isn't quite up to the 2 dozen plus real ciders on offer at the Stockport Beer festival this weekend. )

Ahem, hello, I may just change the tag after my user name now...
*looks ashamed*
It took me 11 attempts to log in as it's so long since I was last on here I'd forgotten it
Anyway, how is everyone?

Hey!!! I've a lot of drinking to do to catch up, well in here anyway, after my trip to Budapest recently I'm still recovering from the alcohol so this'll be just fine!
*notices her ability to form sentences is still suffering*
