this site has the unique h2g2 aviators, photographers, artists etc. This as well as international meets, unique entries, it's own newsletter, up-to-the minute games and quizzes, an Ask area (before Ask Jeeves I believe) and a unique system of honouring it's researchers with the Kudos of unique badges.

What isn't there to make someone this site enough to preserve it???

At least "months", plural. At least I assume so due to something I read from people in the know with italic names.

They (the beeb) want barlesque to be up and running properly before they archive brunel. They said months for that.

So they will want us to be seen to be using the barlesque properly for any prospective buyers. How long they will give us is anyone's guess
