Captain Brigg's Cabin
Garius Lupus Posted Oct 28, 2001
*The floor below where Sarah and Lizzie are turns to a liquid consistency and they drop down into the cargo hold. Unfortunately, since Sarah is sitting on the bunk, with the captain beside her, the Captain also falls through the floor. Also, since Lizzie is holding the cat, the cat also arrives below.
Once down, they all stick to the floor and can't move from where they land. Sarah briefly glows, but no one else does. The deck above their heads resumes its normal solidity.*

The Captain, Sarah, Lizzie and the Cat should all go to the cargo hold thread now. There they will find Gillings waiting. The sticking-to-the-floor is due to a spell cast on the floor.

Mr. Goodschad, will you please tell me your story?
I know that you are not alive. And I've seen you... fade out would be a way to describe it. I would like to know more.
*Lizzie climbs into her bunk and leans on the pillow.*

Well Dearie, I be not a sotryteller, but I do my best. As it be plain that the keeping of secrets be helping none on this voyage I will tell you a bit of my travels.
It be back in 1776 that I met this fate. My mate Volkert and me were on two sides of a battle. A battle that ended my life. After I be killed by my friend, oh I be sure it were not me he were aiming at just people in my uniform, I knew that I needed to be close to him. I guess this what be called haunting. I cannot be able to leave Volkert for very long.
You get some sleep now, I be close by. Mabey later I tell you of the time Volket and I were in amazonia.

*Lizzie hears raised voices out on deck.*
Mr. Goodschad, I'm going to see what's happening. Come on.
*She climbs from her bunk and heads out the door, not looking to see if Goodschad follows.*
