Amelia: With all due respect Sparky dear, I'd /love/ to do this myself. *she grins*
*With every indication of unadaulterated glee, Amelia takes Gillings by the collar and cerimoniously (oh yes, this is a "Throwing people out the door" cerimony. Haven't you ever had one...?) throws him out the door*
Amelia: Aaaaand stay out!

Mrs. Gillings, I perfectly understand that you would do anything in your power to keep knowledge of a true Soulstone hidden from anyone not of your lineage. However, I must say that I have one skill specially honed over all this time. You see, I can smell the Soulstone. Well, maybe smell isn't the right word. I can feel its presence. And I can feel it coming from you. Not from the cupboard.
"Clear as baker's bread it is
Or turpentine in July,
Can be seen like a signal flare,
Or heard clearly as a sigh."

ooc - Jade, technically, you can't do that if Affy resists unless you beat him in combat - so, are the two of you in combat, and do we need GL? - ooc

ooc - what can I tell you, Jade? This isn't a free form like the Magic Forest. Further, he's not just an NPC to be pushed around, Affy is a player too and player vs. player conflict must be adjudicated out of fairness. Hey, you don't know if he's cast an "Unholly Strength of the Forever Damned" spell on himself, you might simply not be able to move him (you never know).
But yeah, my wife says I'm no fun, too. - ooc

Apparently. Hmmm, I like the sound of that spell of the strength of the forces of darkness thingie, but somehow I feel this isn't the time.
*Gillings stands his ground*
Such a pity when violence jumps so readily to people's minds. Um, and the minds of cats.
"Abiding peace and pleasure,
A feeling most serene,
Calm us all now at this time,
Untill we end this scene."

*A feeling of calm serenity comes over the people in the cabin*
Sorry I wasn't here to let you know the outcomes of the spells. We'll assume that they were all successful, since that's what continuity demands. In future, it would be better for you to wait for my ruling when a spell is cast.
And thanks, Mac, for clarifying the actor-to-actor interaction. It's true, any actor-to-actor physical meeting of wills needs to be adjudicated by me. You would describe the action you are attempting, and I will post whether it was successful.

Right Gillings, what is the meaning of this. Explain youself!

"Quiet and calm you
Stay hidden and true
Safely hidden under vest
And close to mother's breast."
*at full volume* I am well, Lizie. Just want to have my daughter close to me. *smiles and looks up at Benjamin in the door* Thank you, my darling. You are truly my knight in shining armour once again. *smiles dazzlingly at him*

*sighs* Mmmmm kay. (go Mrs. Mac! You are officially Jade-chan's new best friend. Have a flower. )
*Amelia is grinning like the cheshire cat and trying very /very/ //very// hard not to laugh because the bully's gotten himself into trouble and has to go to time out.*

Thank you all for your concern, but I believe that it is now unnecessary. Mr Gillings is just leaving. *still refuses to look at him. smoothes Lizzie's hair instead*

Yes, I was planning on leaving, just as soon as that one last piece of buisiness is taken care of, Mrs. Briggs.

Miss Rangel, you can hear him, right? Is he saying anything? Please tell us.
