any place to go and meet thingites, when the serverdaemon is at large, is better than no place - there is an practicly always empty chatroom at a russian ran webside for Holidaypictures of island Malta - it doesn´t matter where - and there is no real need for restriction - the only letdown is the lack of a webcam to see the faces of strangers, when they run across conversations like on NoNoNo some 23 hrs ago

this is worth a debate what is real - the bigeyed faces of innocent stumbleinners - or the conversations going on in NoNoNo!!
I think the conversations - I can tell from the smilewrinkles in my face
imensly increasing since last sodit, when I signed up

Captain Zog, Thingite Ambassador to the little people, back from his wanderings at last Posted Feb 1, 2003
Well, looking at the post rate for 3N on a good day and considering server limits, i think, taking into account hootoo normally stays down for a few hours, we are talking about crashing 1 forum every 15 minutes with our insane chatter, and that is a VERY conservative estimate

Been snowing out there most of the day today... mostly flurries, a bit heavier at times. But it hasn't stuck to the roads and sidewalks, just put a fresh coating on the snow we already had.
