Well, according to http://googlism.com :
"allam is considered the second largest contracting company in egypt after the arab contractors"
"allam is frequently wheeled out to tell the nation that the muslim brotherhood is the source of all evil"
Closer to home: "allam is a solicitor who practised as chief executive and clerk to the justices for east sussex"
And, intriguingly, "allam is not morganti", which just leads our search ever onwards...
As for the special effects thing - I thought of him just being there and then leaving, but in that case why bother? Surely the whole point was that he couldn't be there to film it, but he's too much part of the format to simply leave his apologies.
I know it takes more than half an hour to film a half-hour program, but it still seems unlikely you'd be available to film for 5 minutes but not an hour or whatever...

No soul.
Actually I think there was a clue right at the end that he'd gone to watch the football.
I like Stephen's outfit.Very fetching!

Sounds like a productive time over there then.
Hope you're ok otherwise. Being back at work's probably a good move to help get your mind off things. And a rogue rat's a perfect distraction.

Its a big fat ugly rat. we all think its come from the mc d's across the road. but its running all around the building and people are still trying to get it. some people have named it robbie the rat. its been on the rum noe for 3 hours, very funny and also rather scary for some people who dont like rats. i dont mind what they do with robbie just as long as they dont kill it.

Get one of the traps they use when thet studieing them. Then you can realese it back into the Mc D's nextdoor. Although that may only pospone the inevitable and they reveal the McRobbie
