The Room Of Robbie
Philious Posted Dec 6, 2006
Smear all your computer cables with peanut butter before you go then Robbie can have a feast and leave them with no end of trouble, make sure you disconnect the power 1st of course. Even better do it to the phone lines that feed the whole building then Robbie and his mates can take your revenge for you.
Does your desk have a lockable bottom draw? If so get a fish, put it in there, lock the draw and 'loose' the key. If they ask tell them you haven't used the draw in years. Hopefully they won't do anything about it till the fish starts to smell then they will have break the draw to get it out, either involving a expencive locksmith or a new desk.
Whats the company called? Is there a key letter you can prize off the keyboard makeing it impossible to type the compny name? (as it is fabled that White House staff removed all the 'W' keys) Failing that take the E as it the most common letter in the english language.
You could leave a trail of ransid food from the McD's dumster to your boss'e desk so attracting more of Robbies friends right to his office (a big off stake in his desk draw, again steeling key if you can) would top it off.
You could theaten to go to the Press wouth your story, I'm sure many a journalist would simpathise.
Failing that me and the boy's 'll be round to beat the compensation out of the ers!

Yeah mel, you can't just let them sack you, I'm pretty sure that's illegal. Or you could do one of the many and fun things that Phil's just suggested.
Or you could tell us the name of the company and we can spam them like crazy!

Mel, have you seen a solicitor? I'm pretty certain you have grounds to compensation on unfair dismissal, even if you don't want to go and work there because they're Not Very Nice People (or even b******s). And to be honest, you don't need to feel any worse than you already do.

John is right, compassionate leave is a standard in most industries and if they did not take your morale into account when making the decision then such a sacking does indeed get recompense.
Oo, or theres many variations on Phils fish. Chuck one up inside the ceiling tiles, down the back of a particularly heavy filing cabinet, into the cistern of the gents urinal, taped to the bottom of bosses chair, thin slices under the carpet, filed under 'F', in the shredder, in the printers paper tray, or, if you are feeling adventurous, taped just under all the outside window rims so not only will they be unable to open them in summer, there will be a mysterious streaky film of poopy across them accompanied by many birds.

*wanders into an empty room devoid of life. Puzzles briefly over the framed pictures of a rat lining the walls and scuffs through the coiled remains of electrical cable. Looks all about and peeks into the water cooler. Lifts a dragon out of the way and looks out the window.*
Where have all the thingites gone?
You dont mean...it finally worked? The slogans and campaining and general abuse worked? They have...given up??
I dont know what to say...
Go Robbie!

Id kiss you, but I dont know where you have been. Also you may catch these troublesome fleas. Not a clue what to do about them. Anyway, thought you were an affiliate rather than a stalwart supporter? *glimmer of hope*
I can taunt your loose sense of alligience maybe?
*wibbles admirably for a moment or two then breaks down into a puddle of utter despair*

Dammit, I wish I were a qualified lawyer already or I would sue your company for every penny they've got. Or if I were a journalist I would make sure you got front page coverage because that is utterly abysmal. Failing me being either, contact one (or preferably both) of the said professions. I am enraged. I'm sure we could boycott them or write them letters of protest or something. What a horrible thing to do. I'm sure it's not legal and it's certainly immoral. We shouldn't let them get away with things like that.
