About 40% of the debris strikes the bubble, much of it ricochetting harmlessly off, but others hitting more directly and creating nasty fissures in the hull. The eraser bounces off the monitor screen, distracting Inky long enough from piloting for the Bubble to steer dangerously into the path of a great hulking spaceship...
Inky sets the droid off to patch up the fissures.

[On the bridge of the Bug, YC and YQ enter]
[YQ] Link, I -- hey!
[Elbert] Hi.
[YQ] Mind if we take over? The quad lasers are getting boring with no one paying attention to us.
[Elbert] Sure.
[He and the red-shirted extra leave, and YQ and YC sit in the pilot's and copilot's chairs, respectively.]
[As if to ease the tension, about two dozen of the Chiss ships choose precisely that minute to fly into the field of battle, guns blazing. Seeing a distinct lack of any Good Guy Spaceships, twelve of them return to standby, as the remaining twelve attack what Good Guy spaceships there are.]

[YC] ACK!
[The Bug does some wild evasive maneuvers to avoid fire from two of the Chiss ships.]
[Elbert] [filtered voice-over] Um, you were saying ...?
[YQ] [into intercom] Shut up!

Darn it, there goes my favorite target!
It's a reference to an episode of MST3K. Mike and the Bots were watching "Giant Spider Invasion." There were scenes later in the movie that involved a helicopter carrying emergency "stuff" to help fight off the spiders, but there was never actually any explanation as to what it was (other than the fact that it managed to kill the last spider). Anyway, the line comes from a scene where they jump from what's happening to the helicopter, and back. Nothing else. No music, no dialogue, no monologue, just a helicopter on what is supposed to resemble a night-time sky. Hence the phrase "And somewhere in the world, a helicopter exists."

I see, I see ... Where exactly is everybody standing and what is everybody doing at this very moment?

Good call!
I'm trying to maintain position undetected while my droid finishes patching up pencil damage to the hull.
I seem to be within fleeing range of a smallish planet.

[There is an explosion on the side of the OmegaMatic. It's position corresponds exactly with that of the Regulation Control Center.]
