A Conversation for The OmegaMatic!

Um, first of all, wasn't it the *Mangar* that impacted with the New Persia? Second, what makes you so certain of the Mangar's length?
Never mind the amount of damage inflicted without consent of the creators of the Mangar, I can overlook that arguing point.

The Mangar's size is proportional to the situation that it's in, much like the CLI complex. I believe that it was about 2m at the start of this voyage, but I've lost track of how much of a size difference there is now.

In other words, like the 2001 Monoliths, it's As Large As Possible.

Yea, I guess that definition would fit, albeit somewhat difficultly. But just for the sake of argument, let's say that it's about 2m right now. Not counting the ice shield.

Oh, that. Yes, I'd forgotten about that. A shame too, the Esirpretne was never refined for the ramming ice shield. Hmmmm, what to do, what to do....Oh, and no, the Mangar is not two meters long, YK.

Yes, the Mangar left the fight quite a while ago. The good guy ships can't win here, because then they would be able to attack the OmegaMatic, which they can't do because the good guys are inside. So, since this battle is just a diversion anyway, and none of the good guys are actually aboard the ships, I figured that the good guy ships would slowly leave, with no real casualties (other than RSE's). That's why I had the Mangar take some damage and leave the fight.
Of course, if you want to prolong this fight, then the Mangar could have been repaired and returned.
*Inside the Esirpretne, the 1st officer is looking at the shield status diagram with concern.*
1ST Officer: Captain, the shields can't stand much more of that concentrated fire.
Acting Captain: Well, concentrate sheild power in that area, while we move out of their line of fire.
1ST Officer: Aye aye, sir.
*The shields on the lower part of the Esirpretne begin to glow slightly stronger, while the shields elsewhere dim. The Esirpretne begins to move away from the New Persia, which is vibrating strongly.*

For all intents and purposes, the Mangar is gone. This will not only preserve our original intentions for this scene, but it should also forstall any further arguments, questions, or annoying comments about the Mangar's specs.
