It was A strange feeling that it was colder inside then outside (Because of the air conditioners)... You had to go out to heat up, that was strange... In sweden almoust no one have air condition.
well that was one thing I learned from my trip

We call our air conditioner "the weather machine". In Italian it becomes a word play, because the word for 'weather' is the same as the word for 'time'.
Not that funny, I know... Somewhat far-fetched...

Right now I am eating a bagel. Toasted , covered with honey, crunchy peanut butter , and cream cheese.

No bagels within the borders of Italy, and English is my 3rd language, that's my excuse.
I wonder what all those with English as their 1st language use as an excuse for spelling 'definitely' with an 'a'. See it more often than not.
Had a croissant just now. Got bagfuls of them, and no spelling-problems.

My fave sandwich is known as an AWT (after Anthony Worral Thompson, the celeb. chef).
Take two or three slices of your favourite bread, spread with cream cheese, top with crispy smoked bacon, smoked salmon slices, thinly sliced red onion, capers and mango chutney. Grind some black pepper on top and die happy
*wonders if this qualifies as shallow conversation*

Can I have one without the capers?
The thread-starter hasn't been here in quite a while - yeah, maybe food isn't shallow enough...?

To get back to shallow...... the traffic on the way to work was a bit heavy this morning. You can tell it is holiday season, the tourists never do more than 30 mph!!. And then there's caravans .

It matters not one Iota what you define yourself as or where you are from as long as you are capable of breathtaking levels of triviality and shallowness
Pull up a chair and join us = yogic flying??
Back to trivial and pointless...What are you doing at this moment (apart, that is from typing a post to this conversation)?

Hi pedboy
re smileys.
graphics for the first could be a PC wearing a pickaxe and the second the same PC wearing a tam-o-shanter (tartan of course).
