*pops in for a shallow chat about something trivial, finds food's on the menu, ponders retreat, but decides against it...*

My grilled cheese'n'sausage sandwiches are the best thing in the world, with tuna as a very good second.

I'm a lot into hard core food, really. You know, greasy, unhealthy, fried stuff... (Where's a smiley when you need it, I say!)

Instant tea! smiley - cheers I shouldn't be saying this, because it makes the Scandinavians jealous (they're drowning in snow, the poor things) - but here where I am it's time for iced tea now. I've just been out buying bagfulls of the stuff, ready to be stirred out in water with some ice cubes, and enjoyed in the sun on the balcony!

Here's a pic of me in my shades: smiley - cool

Best toasted sandwich is called a "Graveyard" (see Nicholson Baker's Room Temperature for full and lavish description). Spread some toast with peanut butter, and add crisply grilled bacon. Squish them all together, and enjoy the sweet/ salty/ chewy / crunchy texture and taste contrast.

PS switch off your mental calorie counter before making.
