*tries to scoop them up with one hand whilst restraining an over-enthusiastic toddler and stop the little one crawling off and eating the plant in the corner, which is rustling oddly*

In transit on my way home after going to see some friends yesterday. It was good to be able to catch up with people.

*rescues the toddler and brings him back to kelli* Don't mind about the cards -- it's time the gardenerbot came and collected them for mulching anyhow.

I dreamed of walking and dancing.

Oy! My lower back feels like an elephant sat on it. I think it might have something to do with the lovely, foggy marine layer rolling in. Damp and all that.

Yep. You read that right. I am going to watch a bunch of people recreate classic sketches without the actual cast. But the LA Times gave it a good review. From what I understand, the sketches include Spanish Inquisition, Crunchy Frog, and Ministry of Silly Walks. I'm planning on laughing very hard today.

That sounds like fun, MR. Oh, how I wish I was there to go with you.

Had rather lovely family get-together for my nephew's 18th (gosh they are growing up so fast!)

My Mum' bless her, is sufficiently computer savvy for me to be able to point to various pics on her camera and say "email me that one, this one, and that one"

Have just been indulging in some guerrilla post-it-noting.

Oh! It seems to be my wedding anniversary today... how did that slip under my radar?

Luckily Mrs. D forgot as well. (phew!) Financial woes (now solved, thank Bob) and other annoying bits of Real Life kind of pushed it onto the back burner.
I'd like less Real Life please, I seem to have had more than my fair share over the last couple of years.

Sounds like my sixth form years, MR. Still, I bet it's fun.

B and I keep getting the former occupants' mail still. Quite a lot of it. The girl, in particular seems to have neglected to tell friends she has moved (over a year ago now). We just got tickets through for someone's 30th birthday party at a bar near here. We were contemplating going. 'Hi Betty! Long time no see! Good times, though, good times. Let me get you a drink. You remember B, don't you?'

I'm home and safe after a weekend visting Whitby and Castle Howard. I'll post photies tomorrow. Tired, but pleased to have had such a good weekend away and to have spent so much time with Z. Hopefully he'll be home safe too, immanently.
