Lil, I dream of running, all the time. Hard to remember I can't do that anymore. Last time was about 5 years ago. Still, it's fun!

Morning all. Got the day off to plough through paperwork and have my insides looked at later on.

Chilly but sunny with a pale blue sky.

My To Do list at work is starting to reach epic proportions. On the plus side, there are just six items on the list that must be completed by Wednesday. On the down side, I'm away from the office tomorrow. Ah well. I'm sure month end isn't that important, is it?

Oh! For those of you who remember the Researcher Pastey, he got married yesterday in Manchester. A lovely day.

Does anyone realise how time consuming this interweb thingy is? I've got a day off today which I'm planning on spending doing useful things. So I set an alarm for 1 hour's time, and plan to spend one hour online and then get on.

What happens?

1 hour later I've caught up with google reader and h2g2! Still plenty else to catch up with. At least I've broken my Doctors.net.uk habit. That site is evily addictive.

I have finished by 'Crusades book' and am now reading Captain Cook's Journal..

I remember Pastey. Been a while since he was round these parts. It's been a while since I saw him as well. Glad he's had a lovely day.

Moning all

Had a good weekend visiting my friend whose baby is due in a month, the one who was expecting twins but lost one of them when they developed twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome. She is looking really well and getting to the Oh-My-God stage of pregnancy where you start to panic about what you are going to do with an actual baby when it comes out. He has a potential heart problem due to the too-high blood pressure he had but other thasn that looks great.

*agrees with Z about the interweb* I've got my inlaws visiting next weekend (they are *driving* here from Scotland, for the weekend. Not a long weekend. Insane.) so should be running round cleaning things...

I hope I am sufficiently tardy to be awarded the fuzzy blue trousers. I'll be disappointed if someone shows up to take them away from me - I've already had them altered to allow for 8 extra legs and two tails.
